Take A Leap with Colors

The very first time I discovered art was when I was 7. We get to blow colored soap bubbles on drawing blocks, create hand prints on canvas. Those were great moments I wished I was able to relive it once more. Art to me, always seems endless and fluid. At most times, when words were difficult to express, colors seems much easier to do so.
We have moved from colors to colors with our craftwork. It helps to make our work more purposeful somehow. Creating life in the things we do becomes predominant.
We learn so much about ourselves as we discover the many ways we can combine colors. Colors itself, seems to reflect personality, each a different one. The combination of 2 or more, creates a fantasy, a dream, and a moment.

Our recent acrylic painting inspiration work has allowed us to move our vision, forward. To think out and beyond, to try what others have not, and most importantly, to be able to search our soul.

As an artist, baker, crafter and a human, soul searching was necessary. It helps to take your mind off from society (aka social media), bring yourself back to who you are. We get asked sometimes how do we get to our artwork. And our response,

"If you can learn to stop doing what others expect you to do, and follow your intuition, you have begin to trust yourself. And that's what we did. We went with the flow."

Its not easy to build trust and relationship between you and your clients. The initial stage is always nerve wrecking. Dealing with situations behind a computer screen may be an easier option compared to a face to face, but the process is still not easy. How your response is going to be. How are you going to convince your client to trust you. How sure are you that you are able to deliver what you have promise. Are you even sure about this?

Just Take The Leap!

The journey is necessary. Not just the business. But yourself.

We had a fair share of hurdles dealing with new works and proposing a new idea. It still goes on today.

- There is always someone out there who is going to disagree with your work
- Your mind may be ready, but your heart tells you "No"
- And sometimes, its straightforward, you are just clueless about what you are doing (although you have the idea up in your head).
- You are afraid.

You have to brave on, take a leap forward, if things goes downhill, climb back up, and soon, you will walk through those hurdles. And slowly, you will walk pass them. You build experiences , confidence, faith and your skills along the way, and soon a new set of hurdles will come by. But
this time, you will be able to deal it better than the
first, and it goes on and on.

From what I know, we only live life once. Don't just be better, be different.
